Each preview lasts approximately 90 minutes and are held at my home studio in Sykesville MD on Wednesdays from 9 am to 9 pm. Most brides book 12-18 months before their wedding date and choose to have their previews within 3 months of their wedding. Your attendants are welcome to book hair and makeup previews as well and it's becoming more and more common for the mother of the bride.
Makeup Previews $100 - We will try a few different options to ensure we find the perfect look for you. False lashes are included in your preview as well as airbrush foundation. During this time we'll also mix a custom lip color to use as inspiration for the full sized lip product in your touch up kit.
Hair Previews $100 - We will try a few different options to ensure we find the perfect look for you.
Attendant Makeup $100 - Makeup service includes luxury skin prep and full HD quality makeup application with choice of traditional OR airbrush foundation.
Attendant Hair $100 - Hair service includes dry hair styling with choice of updo or down-do and complimentary extension placement (clip in only provided by client)
Flower Girls $75 - 9 and under - Choice of updo or princess curls. Complimentary glitter and gloss.
Men's Grooming $85 - Complexion smoothed and naturally perfected with choice of airbrush or traditional foundation. *must be at location or subject to additional travel fee
False Lashes $20 - Take your look to the next level by adding false lashes. We carry a variety of styles ranging from very natural to dramatic. Want to fully customize your eye look? Individual lashes are available upon request.
Tattoo or Body Coverage $100 & up - Seamlessly cover tattoos, birthmarks, body acne, or anything else you don't want showing up in photos with transfer proof airbrush makeup. Prices starting at $100
Bridal Concierge Service $125/hour - My Bridal Concierge Service is a luxury add on for your wedding day. Includes unlimited touch ups of hair and makeup, dress and veil repositioning, and some photo assistance.
Travel - My on location service includes travel to the Baltimore area, Washington DC, as well as all of Carroll, Howard, Anne Arundel, and Frederick Counties in Maryland . Additional travel will be calculated at $50 per hour of travel time outside of our standard travel area. Hotel reservations are required for bookings with more than 3 hours of travel one way or for start times before 6:00 am.
Additional Artist/Assistant $150 each - I can accommodate up to 8 total services on my own, (hair and makeup for one person equals 2 services). For 9-14 contracted services, assistant will be required to help keep the total service time to a minimum. For more than 14 services an additional artist will be vetted and added to your booking.
Relocation Fees $200 - If we need to change locations during the contracted service time, a $200 relocation fee will be applied and an extra hour added to the contracted time. You will also be responsible for any travel related expenses (additional mileage, parking fees, and Tolls)
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book your services, and will you hold my date?
We book 12-18 months in advance for the peak season's most popular dates (March through November). We book 2-4 weeks in advance for most weekday studio appointments (6-8 weeks during spring and summer). All dates are first come first served, and no date is held without a signed contract and paid retainer.
What's your minimum/smallest package?
A minimum of $600 per artist is required for all wedding day services. You can meet this by booking either the Bride Only Package or by creating your own package with any combination of wedding day services. All studio sessions are separate and are not included in the wedding day service minimum.
What is your location/travel fee?

I'm having a small wedding, and I need service only for myself. Do you offer that?
I created my bride only package specifically for brides like you. It is ideal for elopements and smaller bridal parties, and allows me to focus solely on you. The bride only package includes 2 hours of bridal concierge service, allowing you to receive the full red carpet treatment with your me waiting in the wings to keep you picture perfect!
How many services can you accommodate?
I can accommodate up to 8 total services on my own, (hair and makeup for one person equals 2 services). For 9-14 contracted services, assistant will be required to help keep the total service time to a minimum. For more than 14 services an additional artist will be vetted and added to your booking.
How much time will you need to complete my wedding day services?
I schedule each hair OR makeup service for about 45 minutes. I will need 15 minutes for set up and 15 minutes for finishing touches before dressing time. For example, three ladies for both hair and makeup will require about 5 hours from my arrival to finishing touches. A suggested timeline will be sent to you with your quote to help you plan your day.
How will you schedule my services?
Our office administrator will create a detailed Wedding Day Beauty Prep Sheet/Schedule for you to share with your party based on your provided finalized photography schedule and wedding day timeline. Once the schedule has been approved, we will reach out to your artists, photographer, videographer, and planner to confirm the schedule with them so we're all on the same page.
What’s the next step to secure my date?
50% of the total contracted services is due with a signed service agreement to reserve your wedding date. Your remaining balance, including any additional hair or makeup services, and applicable travel, transfer and additional artist fees will be due in full one month prior to your wedding date. We accept all major credit cards through our credit card processing system, Square. We also accept payments via Zelle, Paypal, and Apple Pay.
How do you charge for destination weddings?
Any travel beyond 3 hours one way from the DC area will require hotel accommodations for the night before your wedding day in addition to the above travel rates. For bookings that require air travel, travel expenses and $125 per day per diem for meals and incidentals will be billed to the contracted client.
Can I schedule a trial or meeting with you at your studio before committing?
Of course! About 80% of my brides choose to book with me prior to their trial but you're welcome to schedule a trial prior to signing your contract. Please note that dates are not held without a signed contract and paid retainer - even if you have a trial scheduled. It's recommended that you reserve your date while it's available, and schedule your trial a couple months before your wedding day. Most of my brides like to coordinate their trial session about 3 months from their wedding date.
Do you mind if I work with my own hair stylist or makeup artist?
Not at all! I love teaming up with other bridal beauty pros. You're more than welcome to book me for makeup or hair only. Your bridal makeup or hair plus 5 additional wedding day services will meet my minimum.
My ladies and I need to be ready early. Is there an additional charge for your time?
For services that begin before 7 am there is a $50 fee for each artist per hour added to your final invoice. Hotel reservations are required for bookings with more than 3 hours of travel one way or for start times before 6:00 am.
What if my ladies and/or I are running late?
It is important to stick to the approved schedule to ensure that we have a stress free morning and we can get to your photos and down the aisle on time. In the event that your services start later than the approved start time or if an artist is left without a person in their chair for an extended amount of time, there will be a fee of $25 per 15 minutes assessed.
My venue doesn’t open to get ready in until the late morning/early afternoon. Will this affect our getting ready time?
If your contracted services need to begin earlier than your venue allows entry for, you'll need to secure an alternate location for all hair and makeup services to be performed prior to your travel and arrival to the venue. If you wish to have your team pack up their kits, and transfer with you from your starting location to your venue and set up again to continue services, an additional $200 transfer fee and any applicable travel fees will apply for each booked artist.
How would you describe your style?
I like the word "enhanced". Imagine you had all the products in my kit, all the knowledge and talent that I have, and all the experience I have gained over my 11 year career. How would you style yourself for your wedding day? That's how I approach every client I choose to work with. I prefer to emphasize the features you love so you don't even worry about the parts you're not so happy with. It's extremely important that my clients feel listened to, cared for, and like the most beautiful versions of themselves.
Tell me more about false eyelashes...Do I need them?
False lashes are a great way to enhance your look naturally. Think of them like high heels for your face - maybe not an everyday thing for you but they definitely take your look to another level. I carry a variety of false lash styles ranging from very very natural to full glam.
Do you work with hair extensions?
I love styling with hairpieces and clip-in hair extensions to achieve the looks we create for my clients. I'm happy to help you decide what will work best for your look and give you my best recommendation on what and where to purchase. I only work with natural human hair extensions and pieces that are resistant to heat styling, All hair extension pieces are to be provided by the client. Installation service is always complimentary.
What products do you use?
I use a mixture of prestige, luxury, and professional makeup brands such as NARS, MAKEUP FOREVER, Laura Mercier, MAC, Giorgio Armani, Marc Jacobs, Bobbi Brown, YSL, Chanel, TEMPTU Pro, Ben Nye, Inglot, Kryolan, Cinema Secrets, Tom Ford, and Charlotte Tilbury-just to name a few. ALL beautiful makeup applications start with great skin prep, and I use gentle skincare products that are free of fragrance and harmful chemicals. If there is a particular ingredient you know you are sensitive to, or if you have any known allergies, please communicate them to me as soon as you can so I can help you decide what products are best for you.
How can I help you set up/be comfortable in your workspace?
A large, well lit room will be needed to allow for ample space for me, my equipment set up, and for all of our comfort and enjoyable experience. If I will be working alongside another artist or company you have booked separately, I require having first choice of lighting and set up space to accommodate our contracted services.
Do you require a vendor meal?
Most of my brides are so sweet to want to include me, however our services are typically complete by dinnertime. If you have lunch or snacks while we are getting ready, I am always grateful for the offer and may take you up on a quick snack or bottle of water. Champange, while delicious, may affect my ability to provide you with the best service, so we'll have to toast to you once we're done.
How do we tip?
Gratuity is never expected but always appreciated. If you've received exceptional service from your artists, please feel free to thank them any way you see fit. I've gotten cake pops, wine, gift cards, cosmetic products, and of course cash in the past. The best way to say thank you is helping us grow by sharing your experience with your friends and family and continuing to work with us any time you have the need for hair and makeup.
